I’ve added a couple of lovely new photoshoots, from the recent Oculus promotional trail.

Star Wars Episode 7′s cast has been a closely guarded secret so far, with only R2-D2, Carrie Fisher and (possibly) Adam Driver slated to star, but today comes an important update: Karen Gillan’s severed hair will feature.
The actress, who memorably shaved her head for the role of Nebula in the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy movie, explained that her locks have been made into a luscious wig coveted by all of Hollywood and coming soon to the head of a Star Wars character.
When asked by Collider if she was sad to lose her hair, Gillan replied: “No, I was laughing hysterically.
“It really hit me when I woke up the next morning. That’s when I was like, ‘Oh my God, where’s my hair?!’ But also, everyone kept me in good spirit. Everyone was laughing and telling jokes. Marvel are the best company to work for, they really are. They treat you really well.
“They made my hair into the most incredible well-made wig and they gave it to the Star Wars people. It’s just so funny to think that my hair is made into a wig, next to all these Star Wars monster heads in a warehouse. I thought that was really funny.”
Exactly who will wear Gillan’s hair is unknown, with original cast members Fisher, Harrison Ford and Mark Hamill having been touted but not confirmed for a return.
Ford took part in a Reddit AMA last week, but mostly swerved Star Wars questions to talk about manchego cheese.
I’ve added a bunch more images to the gallery, including some photoshoot images from last weekend’s Louisville Comic Con which featured Karen with Matt Smith. I’ve also added almost 50 additional HQ’s from Thursday’s Oculus premiere too!
It’s now become an annual tradition for Digital Spy to treat all you TV fanatics out there to our Pick of the Pilots – the choicest cuts from the projects currently in development for US network television.
These are the most exciting pilots in the works for the 2014-15 season – plus a few potential disasters we’ve earmarked to avoid.
Karen Gillan takes on her first major US TV role. The Doctor Who veteran is Eliza Dooley, a self-obsessed young woman who decides to overhaul her social media image, in this 21st century My Fair Lady. John Cho (Star Trek) plays Gillan’s Henry Higgins, while Natasha Henstridge and Homeland’s David Harewood are among the supporting players.
Last night, Karen attended the Los Angeles premiere of her forthcoming film “Oculus“. She attended this with many of her film co-stars, but also with the very lovely Matt Smith, whom you may remember as her former Doctor Who co-star! Many many beautiful HQ images have been added to the gallery (over 120!), with a huge thank you to my lovely friends Holly, Nicole and Mandy!

Oculus opens on April 11th!
She has crossed the galaxy and faced down weird and wonderful creatures of many alien worlds.
But Doctor Who star Karen Gillan has revealed that she is happiest when she comes back home to Scotland, and even misses the rain.
The actress is currently working in Hollywood and is due to be seen in the big-budget Guardians of the Galaxy film this August, in her breakthrough role as the female lead.
But the 28-year-old has revealed she is happiest away from the limelight.
She said: “My favourite part of Scotland is my hometown, Inverness. It’s beautiful and has my family in it. My favourite part of the world is the same place, but my favourite place to travel to is New York.
“I miss Scotland so much. All of my friends and family are there and I miss the rain.”
In a web chat, fans were allowed to ask Gillan about anything, and she responded to questions about her career and her opinion on Doctor Who co-star Matt Smith’s beloved bow ties, saying they were “secretly cool, but don’t tell anyone I said that.”
The actress was sporting a short bob hairstyle instead of her usual flowing locks, after shaving her head for her last role.
She revealed she has set her sights on the classics in future, saying: “I want to play Lady Macbeth. I know she’s not a historical character, however I want to play her so badly.”
And she also used the social media site Twitter to reach out to one lucky fan’s son when the three-year-old chipped in to say she was pretty.
Gillan posted a picture on her own Twitter stream of her holding a placard with a message to the toddler.
As you can see, here at Karen Gillan Fan we have a stunning new layout (the gallery also matches the main site now!). The lovely Nicole made it for us, and I’ve added it to coincide with the site’s 4th anniversary! Yeah, we’ve been open for 4 years now, celebrating Karen’s career!
As well as the new layout, there’s been a bunch of updates to the gallery!

Earlier today, a new full-length trailer for Oculus premiered. I have to say, it looks absolutely amazing (and I usually hate horror movies!). I have added HD screencaptures from the trailer, and the video is also featured below!
